The LCAF would like to welcome you all into 'House Steiner. Some players will try life as a merc, however keep in mind mercs Pay for there own damage, ammo, etc. In the Military, you gain rank twice as fast as a merc and the mil. pays for all mechs,ammo and damage. Most merc units are only interested in the bottom line, Money. If it takes you time to get good, they can't afford you. The military appreciates you taking the time to get good. We offer extensive training, and we will make you the best you can Be.

This part is a section dealing with protocol in a military RPG, and Why we salute.

First thing to remember is it's a game, but an RPG game. Our role's are Soldier,Warrior,Officer,Trainer and Commander. Believe me when I tell you, there is nothing like a group of well trained soldiers working as a team, and you know that it's because of you. When we start out in this newly created World, we start off at the bottom like any other army, but with 'House Steiner , comes a rich and very proud sense of training and communication. So, you'll have an advantage that was proven in the past to work. Thanks to you, it will continue to keep this house above all.

When we start, our rank will be Pvt. but, with dedication and brotherhood with lance mates, Rank will come. When a superior officer (due to rank or position) enters a room it only takes a second to type a respectful salute -S-. We all Do it, and it is a way to keep things moving smoothly toward the wishes of our superiors. You can ask advice of a senior officer, or maybe they'll even run a mission or two with you. I remember what a kick it was to join a General in battle. When we all play our roles in the chain of command and show we are interested in continuing our Military careers, we are promoted to Higher Commanding positions. This means We take orders even better then we give em . After you have achieved Lance leader, your in line for a Company Command Spot , after that maybe Battalion and So on. It takes Loyalty, Dedication and mounds of Training .

When you achieve Lance Leader, your responsible for the other 3 lance members training, and You are the communication officer on missions. Unless a superior is along, then he will choose a lance leader for that mission. Mainly, you are in charge and responsible for the training of the other lance mates. It's your responsibility to make your lance the best lance in the Company, Battalion or even the whole Regiment.

Just imagine your in command of a company of 12, you just received orders that your Battalion is leading the charge over the Kuritan border, you call your troops to order and get your lance leaders in charge of there men . Make your Company go down in the Steiner History Books. You and your group can win battle ribbons or awards in our offensive or defensive engagements.

Welcome to 'House Steiner , your on your way to being part of the mighty Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces. Just listen to your superiors and train diligently, and you too will become a commander of Mech Warriors.
