Planet New Avelon
History: Discovered in 2310 by an explorer group from Donegal. The first original TharKad. Alistair Marden, and Katherine Steiner married in Tharkad (Tharkad at the time then renamed to New Avelon) city 2405. December 30th 2407, the Lyran Commonwealth moved its Capitol from Arcturus to Tharkad where it could be better protected and further consolidate the Archon's power as Tharkad was Alistair Mardsen's homeworld. 2475 a major earthquake rocked the capitol killing dozens of representatives which prompted House Kurita to start an offensive. Another earthquake occured in 2566, but less damage then the one in 2475.
