Mercenary Contract
This is a Copy of the Contract all Mercenary Units must have with Steiner. They may "bargain" with 'House Steiner for the correct Payload but if not Steiner will allocate the Terms to what the 'House feels standard.This Contract with the proper Terms the Unit and Steiner agreed to must be presented on the Units Web-Site in any location the Unit desires within the site.

This agreement between The Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces (LCAF) and -Name of mercenary unit- outlines the contract for -Duration- on the Steiner planet of -Name of Planet-. Steiner will pay -Min Pay- Sbills up to -Max Pay- with -percent- payable immediately and -percent- of all confiscated equipment. The above named mercenary unit will receive an additional -amount- Sbills for each battle won in an official engagement or event. Steiner will pay -percent- of all mech repair and reload costs. Steiner will provide drop ship, areotech support, and transportation for the above named mercenary unit. Each mercenary unit member will be paid -percent- military rate for equivalent -Steiner rank.-
Command and Control
The above named mercenary unit will report to -Name of Officer- who will act as the Mercenary Laison. No officer of the LCAF shall hire, fire, promote, demote, discipline or transfer any member of the above named mercenary unit. Any grievance will be taken to the Mercenary Laison listed above, who will approach the mercenary commander directly about the problem. Disciplinary actions shall be left in the mercenary commanders and the Mercenary Laison’s hands respectively.
The Mercenary Unit shall defend the planet Steiner provides as its base of operations.
The above named mercenary unit is to serve 'House Steiner in all its military endeavors for the length of the contract. This includes all leagues, tourneys and war simulations on the Planet Solaris.
The mercenary unit may wear HS on their uniform if they wish, but it is not mandatory, except when required by specific tourney, sim rules on Solaris, or other organized function.
The LCAF shall refrain from interfering with the internal management of the above named mercenary unit and the mercenary unit will agree to refrain from interfering with the internal management of the LCAF.
Solaris Specific
The above named mercenary unit will agree to follow the BTROC rules of conduct and Steiner Rules of Conduct.
This contract entitles the mercenaries to join in any organized 'House Steiner events such as tourneys, sims, and contests unless they are listed as Steiner Military only.
The above named unit may use whatever ranking system, and military organizational structure it likes, or may adopt Steiner ranks if they prefer. Either way officers of the appropriate rank will be shown the proper respect by members of the LCAF and mercenary members will afford the same respect to LCAF officers.
It also allows them to join any non house related organizations they wish, such as the ISA "Independent Stables Association".
